Just trying to connect with guzzi owners in southwest Pennsylvania! I’m in Uniontown.

If you join the MGNOC there is a contact list that Frank puts out for it's members. Be cautious on it though some are dead.
-
Send an email to Tip Paul "<thp@peipittsburgh.com>" I don't know his status these days, but he used to be the MGNOC Rep for Western Pa. I've seen postings about a regular Guzzi dinner somewhere in Pittsburgh right here on wildguzzi.
ronkom (MGNOC Rep for Va.)

LOL well some of the roads.
Do you ever go to the Mt Morris MC gathering on the 2nd Saturday at Rising Creek Bakery 10am? It'll be June 10th this month. I've missed them this year for various schedule conflicts but hope to attend this one.

never went to the bakery. I’ll try to make it June 10

Good hope to meet you, and anyone else here!
-
You should put the Zanesville, OH, Labor Day rally on your calendar, too
-
Might, but I already have Kentucky and Virginia on my almost filled calendar.

The Bakery meet in Mt Morris is tomorrow. Second Saturday. 10:00 to Noon. Link to the bakery:

I started the meet years ago for Euro and Asian bikes. It can get anywhere from 5 to 50 bikes showing up. Casual— bikes and bullshit. Nothing fancy.
I’m taking a break from the Meet but I hear that people still show up. Good time. Here’s a link to the old thread:

Sad to hear John. Regardless I'll be there tomorrow, maybe for the last time though.

Figured I'd have one this year. I'll be there this weekend in case anyone wants a coffee and doughnut.
This Saturday, November 11. 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m

Come freeze with us! :)
From 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
At Rising Creek Bakery in Mt. Morris, PA. We aren't affiliated with the bakery, they are just nice enough to let us meet up there.
Just a bunch of folks on a variety of machines. Euro bikes. Scooters. Adventure and dual sport bikes. Commuters. Japanese, Euro, etc. Harleys, Indians, and Victorys are great, too.
Everybody welcome. Family friendly. Only one rule- no jagoffs. :)
Coffee and conversation. Nothing too organized. The bakery:

No attitudes-- laid back, casual, and fun. Here's a FaceBook event group with some info:

Park in either lot-- wherever you can find space. If you show up and no bikes are in the lot directly in front of the bakery-- we are in the lower lot.

Been casually showing up at this for a few years now. This is one of my favorite rides and as John says, coffee, conversation and no jagoffs. It was cold yesterday but worth it. Hopefully December works out also.

Just chiming in here because I recognize the OP-ster; I bought his '07 Norge back in August and AFAIK, he no longer owns a Guzzi (bought a shiny-new 1250 Beemer to replace the Guzzi) and may not be even paying attention to this discussion any more. Doesn't mean it's not a valid discussion!

It was a pretty good turnout. I took a break from the Bakery Meet this summer but thought I’d advertise 1. Over 25 bikes— pretty good for a chilly day. Including a few Guzzis and 2 Urals. :bike-037:  Thought that Kawasaki was pretty spectacular: 1965. Right side shift. Original paint and seat.

It was a fun and well attended gathering of (mostly) old men on (mostly) old motorcycles. :) Thankfully some younger ones come too.
The organizer himself, John Fish, in the orange vest and black cap heading to check out the old Kawasaki and Yamaha 100.

Oi vey, that is one ugly guy. :)
I googled descriptors and came up with:
So ugly I'd be stuck for a face when the baboon wanted its arse back.
Or there's the old Henny Youngman line: If my dog had a face like that, I'd shave his butt and teach him to walk backwards.
-
Heck I thought you looked quite dapper! Especially compared to the rest of us. Anyway John, thanks for organizing this little gathering, it's something we all look forward to.

Turns out that guy (Mike) with the old Kaw is practically my neighbor and rode down with guy on that little Yamaha (Tim) who is a guy I ride dirt bikes all the time with. This was their first time doing the 2nd Saturday ride. I rode down with that young guy (Justin) on the BSA parked next to the Kaw. All 4 of us rode back to Washington together and stoped for a burger. They loved it and will definitely be back for more Saturdays. As you can probably tell Mike and Justin are pretty much about the old bikes and both have garages full of them.

I'm close by in Salem WV. I have two older Moto Guzzi Converts and some other vintage bikes. I do a lot of riding in and around states close to WV.

I'm glad that people enjoy it. I don't always show up but there are almost always some good people there if the weather's good on Second Saturday. It's good riding country and a good destination. :food:
