Guzzisti,
I thought y'all might get off on a bit of history. Picture of a 33 year old change purse I got at Wick's restaurant a couple blocks walk from "Bucky's rally" in New Cumberland WVa. The walls of the restaurant were covered with pictures from all the years the rally was put on. The change purse is still in use every day.

I got a beer can Bucky was handing out from the mill down the road. From around 81, not being a cook I ate at Wicks. There was a bar up the road to the north that was good for picking up chicks. Good Times
Edit: I looked around a bit & found this---------------- for you old guys

I'm in that long pix that you could buy at the last WV National MGNOC Rally. I'm on both ends holding a pix of Bucky. I brought in fresh Maui Gold pineapples for dessert. :boozing: :boozing: :boozing:
Other souvenirs for other National MGNOC Rallies. A tile with the Big Block engine on it. KS. Goody bag from the last National MGNOC Rally in NH after helping Randy.

Very cool Ron. My FIRST Guzzi rally was there. National in 2004?

Mine too. Great times. We would head south and blast across US250 through WV before heading home back north.

I was there many years, can't tell you what years for sure but it was late 80's through the 90's sometime. It was always a good time! I am also in that long photo! :bike-037:

Alice & I are in the long photos taken in 1990, 1997 & 1998 at New Cumberland, plus the one I had taken in 2000 when we did the National here in Virginia. Fortunately I had a long blank wall in the downstairs hallway so I had room to display them all. TOO MANY friends in those pictures are gone now.

The New Cumberland rally was the unofficial start of the riding season for many years. After Bucky's death the fire dept could have stepped up & kept the rally going as it was a real boon to a struggling small town. I asked the ladies at Wick's about it, they said the problem with the fire dept. was "too many chiefs & not enough Indians". A personal observation, I've had occasion to visit a fair number of fire houses in my 77 years, New Cumberland West Va. was by far the dirtiest & least well organized (in appearance) I've ever seen.
I understand there have been a few folks who have continued to show up at the rally site on Memorial Day weekend year after year, any this year?

Like Ron, I am using a keepsake I got from a rally. It is from Tom, from WI rally long time ago. Little blue knife w/keychain that had his name on it. Thanks Tom.

And here I was expecting this to be about Moto Guzzi Zippo lighters. Best way to light a cigar after a breakfast.
