Title: GPS Users!

I know you guys that use GPS are not this unknowing or observant challenged.  This happened in Kona at the local boat harbor.  Luckily not a violent entrance into the water.  Have a map as a back-up.  👍

Watching the vids.  I was thinking that they'd be the same ones getting bitten by sharks or following off a mountain.  Happens a lot out here.   :tongue:

Don't think a map would have helped those drivers. The video report segment even took the time to show that none of the navigation systems they tried would steer someone into the water.

 If they followed the GPS closely they would have been better off.

They were just idiots behind the wheel, and blamed GPS for their stupidity.

I've been to that marina several times. I've never driven my rental into the water....even after a couple of the ice old schooners of beer that the restaurant there serves. Just wow.

Some how, the boats moored there weren't a big enough of a clue.   :shocked:
