Haven't watched it yet but sounds interesting.

I've seen it several times. Not sure what to make of it.
Definitely a period piece.
-
I watched it at the cinema many times when I was younger, any movie with bikes in it had to be watched :azn: :azn:
-
I have seen it a few times years ago. Don't remember it real well. But I do remember it's worth watching as long as you also like movies from that time period.
Let us know what you think.

Excellent movie. Robert Blake does a great job. Good bike scenes but it's a lot more than a bike movie. An anti-hero classic. More proof that the 70's produced the best movies.

Shades of Easy Rider and Vanishing Point.

Good movie for the period. Watched it several times.

There is so much to like from this film. Yes the bikes are cool, but as a Combat Veteran and a former Police Officer, the movie really does touch on some truths. When Robert Blake tells the truck driver who is using Vietnam as a reason he is screwing up all the time, "Im gonna do something for you, that it took people almost a year before they would do it for me." ...Absolutely Nothing. yup, truth.

I remember thinking "that's an hour and a half of my life I'm not getting back."

Just flooded back good memories of my late Dad. Thanks. :thumb:

A little movie trivia...
* Many of the motorcycle riding scenes were filmed up and around the roads around Cave Creek, AZ, near the famous HAROLD's CORRAL restaurant / saloon...

* Former racing champion / stuntman local Phoenix HD dealer Buddy Stubbs taught Robert Blake how to properly ride that Electra Glide...

Thanks for the additional information JJ. :thumb:

The movie site Rotten Tomatoes gives this film a 69-74% approval rating. Okay, but not great. Reviews say it has points of insight, but it is lost overall.

I had forgotten that he hated riding the motorcycle. The main motorcycle chase scene features some pretty good stunt riders. The big hogs in the arroyos is impressive riding.

Wow, I remember seeing that film. At the time I thought it was ok but not great. However the 1970's when it was made was a time when many things happened that changed my life. Some were not fun at all but one was very great indeed. I bought my first Moto Guzzi in 1972 and have continued to ride them until this day.
