Title: Convert sidestand switch - edited, found my answer

New, to me, ‘77 Convert…one of the first mods I’d like to make is disabling the sidestand cutoff switch. I’ve searched here but find no specificity to my desired end result…..looking at wiring diagram may I surmise that disconnecting the white/black wire from the switch to coil will disable the kill while leaving the dash flasher function intact?

Cognizant of risks of riding off with sidestand deployed….learned that on my T140 almost 50 years ago. :bike-037:

EDIT….I must learn again to reference Guzziology first - found the answer Chapter 17, page 24.

Of course, I had to go and dig out my old copy of Guzziology and look it up!  Great info....Every thing one would want to know, and then some.... about our Converts  multitude of safety features.  :grin:  :thumb:
