Title: Happy Fathers Day! Fathers day ride.
Post by: bigbikerrick on June 18, 2023, 05:12:33 PM
Happy fathers day to all the Dads here. Especially to those that are lucky enough to still have their Dads alive. I am lucky to be able to take a ride with my39 y/o son today, getting ready to scoot off to Bisbee, hitting the canyons and the Coffee shop. I will be taking my 76 Convert, on a shakedown run, after sealing up some leaks, and my son will take either his road glide, or RZ 350, has not decided yet. Its a toasty 97 degrees here today, hopefully Bisbee with its altitude of 5000 ft will be cooler.  :azn:

Thanks, Rick.  Hope your day was as good as mine.  I had a great day with wife (still not done yet) & daughter and my 81 yo mother (now that I’m the man of the family, which precludes most bike time..).   No riding but they bought me a great smelling geranium and listened to me talk about my bikes over Korean bbq.

Don’t think we’ve 90f yet here in SC.  It’s almost surreal & never this comfortable in mid June.  We expect the triple digit heat and 99.99% humidity will start kicking our butt any day now.

took a ride in the morning, went home and watched MotoGP & Indycar.. then smoked a couple racks of St Louis ribs.   Two sons came over, took leftovers with them (a few meals for both of them).  Gave me bottle of 12 yo scotch.
