Something is screwey.

It's government run. Most likely by a former IRS agent.

After a wet spring and a good start on the tomatoes, I'm heading to Colorado Mtns next week. It looks like I'll be leaving triple digits.
Hope to see Dead & Co at Boulder next Sunday. Looking forward to cool evenings, cigar on the balcony and hot tub. It's nice having friends to have us for visits.

We are headed to the Boulder area tomorrow to watch grandaughter Iris play in an international softball tournament. We'll no doubt run across you..

I thought this thread might be about the band Weather Report. One of my all time favorites. Oh well.
Sunny and low-70’s here in Evergreen, Colorado, elev. 8000’. Nice weather has finally arrived.

Great, we're visiting Bailey @ 9k el. Which is 30 minute drive or across the mountains as the crow flies. Sounds perfect.

Yep, I go to Bailey frequently. Try to avoid US 285 on weekends if you can. Especially on a holiday weekend.
The Cutthroat Cafe in Bailey serves up a good breakfast, and their burgers aren’t half bad, either.

Saw Dead & Company last week in Philly, awesome show.

Saw The Dead a couple of times back in the day. I think..

285 is perhaps the most dangerous road in America. Even more so on my Guzzi. We've given up on the Cutthroat breakfast a couple of years ago. There's a couple of nice places in Aspen Park. Madwell's has nice Italian and 285 Pizza is good too.

You sound like a local. Madwell’s is very good. About 15 minutes west of Bailey on US 285, in Grant, is the Shaggy Sheep. Also very good.

Shaggy, sometime open, sometimes not.
Another fav were the tamales in Fairplay. She's got her own store, she used to be in the bowling alley.
When you're staying with friends you tend to go out.
