Any takers for -A few questions regarding carburettors "MODEL PHF 36 Dellorto" on a Moto Guzzi Le Mans 1. ?
(standard restored machine) .
Float level height.( 10 gram type)
1) The official moto G factory workshop manuals/supplement for Le Mans 1 + 2 mention a height of 23.5mm.( see included images )
However :-
I also have a a manual for MG 'Le Mans 3' explaining that workshop manual information should be ignored in favour of a height of 17.5 /18.5 mm( see images)
All the official Dellorto carb. manuals that I have managed to find on internet mention a height of 17.5/18.5mm.
Could anyone clear up this contradiction and indicate the correct height ?
2) Jetting etc...
The restored carbs currently contain the standard parts as per enclosed image(Pump has been set to 5cc per 20 strokes)
However ,the machine has now been fitted with Lafranconi completion type silencers .
Could anyone recommend the necessary carb internal modifications for this set up
Also I live at sea level ,if that helps

Believe the DelOrto book. 17.5-18.5 float ht. Some will say the atomizer was misprinted and should be a 268 instead of 265. With pipes the main will be around 150, a bit up or down. pilot is 60 . Read your spark plugs
Edit: Use the K/5 needles, #38 pump jet and a #60 choke
Before adj carbs make sure ign timing is spot-on.
