Took advantage of the day and went to 4 local distillery's on the 1200 Sport. The 1 1/2 risers made a huge difference. Such a FANTASTIC bike.............. V100 eat your heart out. 125 miles. Also did 60 miles on the Convert.

How fun! I'd have spent every buck I had at Willitt. In fact, having some Johnny Drum as we speak.

That’s a lot of tastings. Which tour was the best? When I drove my daughter down to UK for a summer internship a few years ago they were very difficult to book. We went to Bulleit and really liked it. Great pictures Bulldog.

The Tastings happened AFTER the ride  I can't take the chance to drink and drive/ride.
So far, I have only Toured Makers, Buffalo Trace, Beam, Rabbit Hole, Angels Envy, Old Forester, and Peerless. I've been at Knox just about a year and am really enjoying the Bourbon culture. I am only here 50% of the time, but try to get out to a couple every week. Most of the distillerys have an 'allocated' offering
I was super disappointed Willett was closed..... But the Heaven Hill BiB saved the day and is every bit as nice as the McKenna 10 BiB (one of my current favorites). I was hoping they had Old Fitzgerald. The Single Barrell is the only 4 Roses I like, and the Knob 12 was the only one I was missing. My favorite of those is the 9 Single Barrell Reserve. SO MANY options............

Sound great!
I don't always recognized or associate forum names, and being a fellow Guzzi nut. I was curious do we know each other? Since we are both this area and both with Guzzi collections?

We've been wanting to do a distillery tour, but simply cannot find a designated driver. Funny how everyone wants to participate though.

I'm not sure. I've only been stationed at Knox for a year, and am gone 50% of the time. I did make it to a Guzzi breakfast before the winter.

Bulldog,
Great pics of the lovely 1200 Sport. It was and is a beautiful motorcycle, and I especially enjoyed seeing the old gal being used as a bourbon tour bike! Maybe one of the best CARC bikes built by Guzzi.
