Title: V7 III rocker pin fork screw torque
Post by: dublicious on July 12, 2023, 05:36:32 PM
Hello! Curious if anyone has any info on the torque specs missing here? Specifically pos. 3&4. The ones locking the pin fork had loctite on them. Is this an indication that specific torque isn't super important (since it's just holding the fork down) and it's a matter of putting loctite on and snugging up? Seems sketchy but unless there's another way to get this info, I'm not really sure that else to do. Pic of manual diagram attached. Hopefully that's readable...

Thanks!

You might want to measure the bolts and look up the specs for that size. Use loctite and tighten a little less than spec.

Just a thought,
Tom

Don't follow the "tighten it until it breaks, then back off 1/6 turn" rule.

Ahh, Guzzi torque specs. Obviously, these fasteners require no torque at all.. that's what the manual says.  Maybe you look at them fiercely and say, "Stay."
