Two Dogs may have started something with a "give it forward" I’ll call it.
Oh I know generosity has been found on this forum as long as I’ve been on it and probably well before that but I’m proposing a chain of events if you will.
So, since TwoDogs is sending me a seat I will select the same, (doesn't have to be but I’ve chosen the same) to give away now. (recipient just pay shipping) CONUS for me, sorry over the ponders. YMMV IF shipping costs come back to earth then I’ll reconsider.
I have a solo seat off an older Convert. Now it was converted, pun intended, off of I know not what.
Needs to be recovered at any rate.
So let the games begin, as long as the moderators are cool with it.

I can’t see any of the Forum rules are being fractured.
Carry on.

Be careful inditx, you may find yourself accused of doing something for someone else.
Unbridalled ridicule will certainly be visited upon you from a great height, but for the record, I applaud you…. :thumb:

Come on man, don’t you think the mods have it hard enough without your help?

Indeed they do, so I thought I’d go easy on them. :azn:
They can join in on the reindeer games as well.

If any of you have a Hexhead BMW with 77/47 throttle bodies the throttle cables pulleys are known to crack and can leave yuo stranded. I have rebuilt about 10 or 15 sets of TB for other and have a set of TB's ready to go.
1. I ask that you are currently in need as in one or both of you throttle cables are cracked.
2. You can swap out the rebuilt TB's for you within a few days of getting them. Idea is to keep riders riding and not have parts sitting on a garage shelf waiting for you to get around to the swap while another rider is sitting with a bike tits up.
3. Drop a $20 in the return package containing your old throttle bodies to cover my shipping and then I can rebuild them and get them ready for the next rider.
Since I have had two other riders donate new pulleys to me, I am giving them away. So you'll be back up and running for less than $40 opposed to around $120 to $450 (depending on the fix. While I do not charge for what I do I ask that the recipient perform a good deed and in this instance two good deeds to cover my time and effort as well as the generosity of the folks that donated pulleys to me. What, when and or how much you do as your good deed is not public interest. It's not a competition to see who does the most and everyone sets their goal/limit and does it privately. I trust you will do the right thing(s).
TB's were disassembled and ultrasonically cleaned then the pulley shafts were drilled/tapper and modified to accept new pulleys. Then everything reassembled and its plug-n-play.
