Hey all, just trying to confirm if a standard V11 Sport from 2003 would come stock with single or dual plate clutch? I think “maybe” from the research I’ve done, that only the special models from those years would have the single and not the standard bike. But not certain. Might be buying one today so this would be a big help. :thumb:

you are correct. only special models like Scurra and rosso mandello had the single disc.

Thanks so much, foto. You are always a big help. Now let me go see if I can strike a deal.

Standard V11, standard clutch.
It's a fun bike- ergo's not for everyone, but the motor pulls like a locomotive. Mine reminded me of a 1960's Mustang or other muscle car. Except better handling, brakes, etc.

Add Tenni to the list.

It would have come with a two disc ten spring clutch which uses the same clutch discs as an eight spring.I went to a ten spring for modified engines. They cured longevity trouble with eight spring clutches after a successful tune up. Heads, cam, all that jazz . I understand the next step up would be a clutch from a 1400, but I don’t need that and I don’t know much about them.

I have a complete 10 spring clutch with the light flywheel I could part with.

A ten spring flywheel that had weight added would be great for a sidecar .
