Title: No red earl light
Post by: bacongrease on October 11, 2023, 07:32:58 PM

2004 Stone.....No oil light.  I suppose some problem near the dash. But where is the sender unit on the engine, just in case?  thanks,    :boozing:

It’s on the block in front of the left cylinder. Test the light by grounding the lead, you don’t need to disconnect it , just run a ground wire from its connector and light will come on for the switch is a grounding switch.

If what John recommends does not illuminate the light, check the tiny little bulb in the dash. They can be "fiddgety".
Rick.

Stone's & Jackal's had a crappy bulb socket, I've swapped a few shorted ones.

The drunk at the other end of the bar, of course said EVOO.    :undecided:

He must be a member here.    :embarrassed:
