Pulled the trigger today. I have been looking for a small scrambler style bike for about a year. I was just about ready to buy a Husqvarna Svartpilen
401 when I found out that a new upgraded 2024 was in the works. Also on the list was the Honda CL 500 and kinda interested in the new RE
Himalayan 451 water cooled upgrade coming soon. The Triumph Scrambler (in green) just checked all the boxes. FYI:
$5595.00 MSR + $625.00 freight (non negotiable) + $ 435.40 tax (7%) + $290.00 Doc fees = $6945.40 OTD. Expected delivery first quarter next
year. The Street version went on sale in India about 5 weeks ago and supposedly 18,000 have been sold so far. I really think Triumph executed a
well designed bike with Bajaj which has been in planning and execution for around 3 years. Very nice list of available accessories, but in truth the
bike is pretty complete stock.

Congratulations! I and a couple of friends have been quite interested in the 400X. But I won't be reserving a 400X as I am working on my own small capacity scrambler. I have been restoring a '73 Honda CL350 that I dragged home from a neighborhood garage sale years ago. I would be interested in meeting up for a drag race one day. :grin:

Would consider the drag race but will need to know your final bike weight first. :wink:
