I turned my 850T into a cafe bike a few years ago. I have it very reliable now and ride it all over. I bought some second hand Ikon shocks and they made a big improvement on ride quality and handling. Still using the single disk up front.
My question, what options do I have to improve the forks now? One of the current forks has the nut on the top stripped so that part of one fork needs replaced anyway.
Do I find some forks from another model?
Do I rebuild what I have? If so with what?
Is there a modern fork option that would be a direct replacement? I really don’t want to change triple trees and all that.
Thanks,

I used 1100 Sport forks on my LM3, they most all use the same head bearings. You can get fork tubes from Forking By Frank in Chi, IL if you just want to fix it. Lots of options for dampeners & springs.

If you can find them, 38 mm Marzocchi Strada forks are cool. I have a brand new pair for my Convert project.

I just wanted to say that I am very impressed by that tail-box you have!
I've seen all sorts of replacement front forks- just depends on how much effort and machining you want to put in. I think the FAC dampers and better springs are enough for me, but folks have put upside-down forks from Suzuki's and such on their bikes. I wonder if a V11LeMans fork would be easier? No idea here.

I used Franks Forks to replace my last pair on my Mille. I used Bitubo and Wirth progressive wound springs. Mille's were beaten up by everybody due to poor performance with the stock frond end. With the Bitubo's and Wirth springs I got much improved performance with those weenie 35 mm tubes.

+1 for upgrading the stock set up. I think inverted forks look weird on a tonti frame.

I researched this for my Cal 2. I decided first to install a Tarrozzi (?) fork brace with new springs & dampers, 100% improvement at a cheap non-modified price.
