I recently acquired my third Norge, 2007 new (never should have sold it), 2012 used, and now a used 2007. It has the OEM silver trunk I'd like to put a Givi V46 on it which I already have. Does anyone have a clue where I can find a new or used mount? Revzilla has it listed but not available. I have tried many places and even contacted Givi in Italy. They directed me to a dealer in Italy but there is no option to ship to the US. I emailed and received no response. Contacted Givi again and no response.

Interesting that you moved it forward. I don't normally have a passenger and that could work. I have some mounting brackets and a mount off of a Triumph Tiger 800 that looks like the same as the SR210 mount but the actual mount to the bike would have to be fabricated. Your bike looks like you have done a lot of fabricating on it and it looks good. I'm to cheap to spring for an exhaust like that but I do like it.

The real blood and guts of the design, is that it puts the centre of mass of the loaded box, directly over the mount.
Therefore there is no pitching moment as you encounter bumps. The arch shaped mount is aesthetically pleasing to my eye, but there is a more fundamental reason for the design…
Without that deep cutaway, you cannot get the damn seat off…! But it will go back far enough (just), to unhook the front from it’s mount.

Any chance you can sell another mount like this?

I may have what your looking for. I removed a Givi trunk mount from my 09 Norge. I don't know the model number. I'll take a look tomorrow. JohnB

Well, I only made the one, but it’s not unachievable if you wish to do the same.

I also have a GIVI mount on my '07 Norge but do not have a GIVI box mounted. Might be interested in a deal for the mount if you'd consider letting go of your silver factory box (equalizing $$ offered). PM me if nothing else works out.

I must say I am learning about this website every time I use it. I posted this and never heard anything that I knew of. Today I was looking for the model number of the rack so I could mark it in my storage and it linked me to here. Then I saw all the responses. Thank you to everyone but I finally found one at a salvage yard and after pounding the mounts straight and using the plate from my now gone Triumph I had a setup. I am now back to the OEM trunk as the reflector on my V46 trunk disappeared on a ride and those are currently made of unobtanium.
I guess I have to make sure I get updates on responses.
