I've been looking for a 1935 Illinois motorcycle plate since I bought the bike. I have seen very few for sale during that time. They have been in very poor shape, extremely expensive, or both!
I finally was able to find a decent plate for a reasonable price. We are allowed to use these "year of manufacture" plates on the road if you have a antique license registration.

Yep, very nice!
I'm running year of manufacture plates on my '72 CL350 and '72 Eldo. The Eldo plate is original to the bike. I bought the bike from the original owner and the plate came with the purchase transaction.
