Title: Signal light indicators
Post by: snobear on November 12, 2023, 10:34:34 AM
I find the signal light indicators in my dash difficult to see on a sunny day.  Has anyone had success with a replacement for the 194ll bulbs that was brighter?

I replaced the #74 "wheat" bulbs in my V50 III with LEDs from Superbright LED and they were visible even in direct sunlight. Doing the same to all of the warning lights in my Cal III FF.

With LED bulbs make sure to match bulb color to lens color, red for red, yellow for yellow etc., if you don't they will show up only very lightly influenced by the lens color, sort of washed out.

I've bought #194 LEDs on Amazon as well.

2+ for Super Bright LEDs - wide range of products on easily navigated website.
….and don’t forget most 12V LEDs are polarity specific - if no light switch polarity.
