Hi, forum
I re-flashed my ECU with beetlemap file using guzzidiag and when it completed i turn the key and this "alarm can ecu disc" appeared. I had flashed the ECU many times before with no issues. I am using the Lonetech cables that were suggested. Every I turn the key on the fuel pump stays on until I turn the key off. Strange I have never had this issue before. Things i tryed soo far:
1. disconnected battery, pulled all fuse's let sit for couple hours.
2. disconnected battery and connected both battery leads together with key on.
Any other things? before i pick up a salvage ecu from somewhere.

"Alarm CAN ECU disc" means the ECU and dash aren't communicating.
Did you allow the Writer to complete before switch the key off? What is the state of the battery?
Have you tried writing the map again?

Yes the writer did complete. New battery just charged it up also.
Yes I tried to write again but, When ever I try write it does not communicate with the ecu and promps me to disconnect turn key off.

Either the map was corrupted somehow, or there was a communication error.
Highly unusual. I don't think there's a recovery mode, either.

You should send a question to Beetle directly. He doesn't seem to be on this discussion board any longer but I know where he is, so PM me if needed.
