As a photographer and my wife being a graphic artist, I find this scary yet fascinating. I just ask for a V85TT climbing Mt Everest.

Doesn't do a thing for me. It looks like a first gen Royal Enfield Himalayan from the side.

You missed the point all I did was type in what I wanted and it created this in about 2 minutes. :bike-037:

Bring up the side stand…
-
Interesting, however how many mirrors do you need for hill climbing?

When your new bike fails, you'll know why.

I don't play with those AI sites. Which by what was created aren't very intelligent.

Yup
Scary to me too, just how good it is on such short notice. It’s new, give it a few versions
I’ve heard it suggested we need to grow it up like a child

You missed the point
what is the point of AI ?

Yep

Can you have AI put a loop on mount Everest? I would love to see that.

I think the scary thing is AI does such wrong things and people think it is so smart. So in this case, we can quickly look at and point out all the goofy things it generated. I've found that when you use it to provide info on things you are very knowledgeable about, just like the pic, it does some really wrong things ... like very basic and very wrong info.
So, expand this, read an article about how they plan to us AI to help diagnose diseases from body scans, that is scary. Like insurance will not cover xyz because the AI didn't come to that conclusion. Or the flip side of that, the AI said you need abc procedure ... just like you need a whole bunch of mirrors and you ride rocky hard terrain on most street oriented tires with your kickstand down and need 8 somewhat random exhaust pipes on a 2 cylinder motor.

If only AI was as perfect as humans, someday.

It's ironic that consumer facing "AI" are bad at generating images, since one of AI's most practical uses over the past few decades has been anomaly detection in images. If you've ever wondered who scans the images taken by space telescopes and identifies points of interest to focus on next, or how governments use satellite imagery to monitor international movement of troops and resources, much of that has been done with machine learning for a long time now. There's still human review involved, as there always should be.
I find these tools useful for coming up with a mock up idea. Treat that Guzzi image as clipart or a stock photo place holder and then hire a human artist to make a final product. Ask ChatGPT to come up with an outline or key talking points for a lecture and then use your own brain to flesh it out.
