Cool looking hand guards.

I wish they had english subtitles to the video in the article.
They dismantled the engine and looked for wear in major parts like
the crank, cam, pistons, transmission gears, forks...
I can't understand how many km they did and if they are recommending maintenance.

Didn’t they quote 50,000 ?

Yes he states that they did 50k km on it right at the beginning of the video.
They had two flaws that where detected whilst service that were covered by guarantee:
- at 20k km steering head bearing was changed
- at 30k km cam chain tensioner had lost the spring and the bike ran rough

Breakdown summary:
- Main bearings, cam, rod bearings where in very good condition and completely within specs.
- one cylinder and both side piston rings where out of spec but the bike did not eat up any oil nor was there any combustion losses. He says he spec whise he should change at least the rings but he dont have to. He speculates if Guzzi sent wrong specs for reference since the bike ran so well with off specs.
- one gear fork/lever has an unusual amount of wear to it which caused clonky shifting in the higher gears but he cant point out what caused that wear.
