I would like to thank those who answered my post on No Spark, No Gas for my 2003 1100 Ev California. And of course, your patience. I learn from your advice and collective Guzzi wisdom.
When I arrived home my part was waiting for me. I installed the new "crankshaft sensor" and my EV stared right up with no problems. I have to say that my test ride after installing the crankshaft sensor was most enjoying.
We've had great weather in Texas. Perfect for Cruising. :bike-037:

Thanks for that report, when your bike runs well it is a feeling of wellbeing alright!

Good idea to have a spare if you are traveling on one of those injected 1100 Californias or Evs.The bike will crank but not fire until you replace it.It happened to me twice.

They must have changed something between the 01 EV like mine and the 03. My 95 Cali had crank and cam sensors. My 01 only has a cam sensor. I didn't realize that they fitted a crank sensor again. With 123,000 miles on my 01, I do carry a spare cam sensor with me.
