Title: Norge throttle body linkage ball socket
Post by: kja on April 05, 2024, 10:30:07 AM
My resurrected 2006 Norge throttle body linkage ball socket has failed.  There was an old thread on this forum from 2016 that mentioned a Mercedes
part that was used.  The part is still available but looks a bit different than pictured from 2016.  Since it was viewed a few thousand times I assume it is a common problem.  Has anyone used this Mercedes part recently or is there a better solution?

Thanks.  For the time being I wired it up.  Now to order a replacement.

That happened to my Stelvio and my buddy stuffed some gum wrapper in it which held until I was given a new one.The bike needed to be tuned .Mine failed because the nut on the linkage somehow came loose causing vibration that damaged the cup.
