I will start with one from Cycle magazine, November 1982, with a comparison between the SP1000, Mirage 1200, R65LS and 600SL.
The Guzzi drone happily, almost a floater compared to the Laverda, an easy chair, supple and billowy. Guzzis are fast in an off-handed, confident, deceptive way; maybe it's the mellow engine housed in a sports chassis; the SP is the kind of motorcycle a guy gets off, hears everyone else babbling about cut-and-thrust heroics during the last stretch, and wonders whether he was going that quickly, or whether everybody else is just crazy.

My favorite Guzzi quote is in my signature.
One day, very early in my apprenticeship, I rode my old V7 Sport to the studio. We were all into machines. My Master Sculptor who owned the studio was a car guy & into Studebakers at the time. My cousin Andy was into circle track racing with his wife’s cousin. Jim Sardonis was into old cars in general and did a lot of trading. They all liked the Guzzi, even though bikes weren’t their thing.
At coffee break that morning, Master Sculptor Giuliano Cecchinelli stopped by to visit like he often did. Beyond providing basic transportation, cars and motorcycles were largely irrelevant to him. He was into his world of sculpture and the old ways that too many people don’t appreciate anymore. He’s generally a very sedate person- calm and reserved, not excitable.
No matter, he came into the studio and was almost giddy, like a wide eyed little boy ready to open presents on Christmas morning. “Who owns the Moto Guzzi in the parking lot?!? Now THAT'S a motorcycle!" He said he hadn’t seen any motorcycles like that in the states. It made him think of being back in Italy. He said very few people in America appreciated a machine like that. He was exceptionally happy and chatty that visit as we looked at and talked about my old bike.
He has been a tremendous mentor as a Master Sculptor to me over the years. But I think him seeing my Guzzi that day probably gave me a special opportunity to connect with him. Very cool.

Don't know if it really a Guzzi Quote per say but the most common comment on the T-3 is "What is it? Who makes it? On the Norge the most common comment is "What a beautiful BMW."

A commentator was commenting on the sound of Guzzi’s racing and he called them, “ground pounders”.

Classic Bike Magazine, January 1982 - article about the Guzzi 500 SuperAlce military moto.
"It became fashionable among the leftist young and the radical chic to renovate Super Alces (sic), not because the bikes were better than the Falcone or the Gilera Saturno, but because they were available in large numbers at throwaway prices."

I was at a rest stop sitting on the curb beside my Roamer and some guy came by and asked me about my Kawasaki. Dude! Really?

"That's a beautiful Kawasaki you got there" - said of my 2017 1400 Tour, at a local watering hole.

"Motor Guh-zee? Who makes that"?
Pretty much every time someone asks me about the bike I'm riding.

Quote I saw on WG awhile back:
"If you test ride a Moto Guzzi for half an hour you will never own one. If you ride one for a month, you will never own anything else."
