Title: Great dealer experience today - Mother Road in Tulsa
Post by: Luap McKeever on May 08, 2024, 07:48:34 PM
Visited Mother Road Motorsports in Tulsa for the first time since they opened. Very nice people, knowledgable techs, massive selection and now they're gearing up to carry Ducati. If you're anywhere near them in your travels, I suggest stopping by and saying hello. Boy, that V100S is as sweet in person as I hoped. If only I won the lottery

It's where I picked up my 7.  I'm glad to hear that the selection has increased. When i purchased my 7, I actually went in for a 9 but they only had one and it was murdered out in flat black.  (yuck). I actually purchased the owners personal bike with 1700 miles on the dial.  He seemed very keen to move me towards the Aprilla models, and then made an unusual comment when I selected the 7.  " there is no reason to buy one of these, unless you just want one " perhaps he is correct, just seemed like an odd statement from the dealer.

Still, good friendly service,

They're enthusiasts!  I hope they're able to stay with us for awhile.

The only good reason to buy anything is “because you want one.”

We've had a group ride or two there with some of the WG crew and others.  They've got Aprilia as well as Guzzis.  As Luap says, we're understanding they're adding Ducatis.  I'd guess the later would more than double its business.  As a Duc and Guzzi owner, nice to have another place.

If you ride to west Tulsa, Arnold's burgers are pretty good.  Of course the rest of T-town has some great places IMO.
