That is a real loss. Ron was a super nice guy! Very knowledgable and entertaining.
I bought a Nevada from his son Doug who is my neighbor. Another great guy.
thanks for posting Charlie.

I got to know Ron at Camp Carlo for many years, along with many midwest rallies. I've always said he is my hippy brother from another mother. I've laughed so hard I cried at some of his tales. Erudite, funny, caring. Crap. I loved Ron. Certainly one of the good guys. At least now he is out of pain. I have his phone number, but don't have an address to send Alice a card. If someone does, PM me, please..
Have a good trip, Ron..

This is sad news. My wife and I have known Ron and Aice for more than 30 years. What a great guy he was. He was always eager to help people out. Our condolences to all the family and friends.

We should all do as much as Ron and Alice did in promoting Guzzi. Great people!

I love the above description!! You would enjoy spending some time with Ron's son Doug! He really is a flower child from the 1960's!
We have great discussions about Bigfoot, Aliens, other dimensions, The Law of One, The Urantia Book, magnetic lay lines, artifacts, Native American energy sites and rock formations on our properties, meditating in the woods, etc....!!
All the subjects I enjoy that weird people out, Doug has knowledge of!!!
Here is Doug's address if anyone is interested:
Doug Komoroski
126 Misty Hollow Road
Madison Heights, VA 24521
I'll send you Doug's phone number via PM.

RIP Ron.
Thanks for all the Virginia Rallies.
-
I only met him once at the only VA Rally I have gone to and he showed me all of the accolades that the rest of you have mentioned. Blessings.
-
Had the pleasure of meeting him once and we've exchanged many emails and a few phone calls over the years. Great guy. Thoughts with those close to him.
-
Absolutely gutted. I've known Ron and Alice since my first VA Guzzi rally in 2003. I designed several rally shirts for Ron, and I always loved our conversations. He will be utterly, sorely missed.

Rest in Peace, Ron. You'll be missed. Deepest condolences to the family.
-
fare the well Ron
as my memory fades, I last recall seeing Ron at Camp Carlo (maybe 7years ago?)
sad to lose a long timer
-
Rest in Peace kind sir.
Ron opened his door to me while on a cross country ride, San Diego to Maine when I had a misfiring issue with the V11 Jackal that I was riding a few years go.
He did not know me from anyone and helped me out for the better part of a day, stopped everything that he had going and helped me diagnose the issue to get me on my way.
I am forever in his debt.
Such a great fellow.

Alice is seeking photos of Ron (with other people) I presume for his Memorial Service. If you have any to share, please contact her (I can give you her cell number upon request).
-
Sad news to hear as I had just poured my morning coffee into a 2012 VA Rally mug. Ron gave a lot of us some great memories and I am very thankful to have known him.
-
I have been away for a while and just saw this.
Very sad news indeed. Ron and Alice have always gone out of their way to support everyone. I met a lot of great people at their rallies.
So sad to hear.
