Title: Tinted windscreen on '23 V7
Post by: bronzestar1 on June 14, 2024, 06:30:17 PM
Installed the Biondi tinted windscreen on my '23 V7 Special Edition, mainly as a confidence builder before I tackle swapping out the taillight.  It's a fairly simple job, just remember to put alignment marks on the headlight bucket before starting.  Also, I did one side at a time, so the headlight was never fully loose.  The only issue I ran into was the M5 bolts supplied in the kit to attach the windscreen to the brackets were too short.  They're M5x.8x20mm long, I had to use 25mm ones to make it work.  I used the seam along the top of the headlight bucket as my reference to make sure the windscreen was straight, and it's all good to go now.

As Jimmy Carter once said, I have lust in my heart when I see that bike. I can't wait to see what you do next.
