That's high mileage?
Fwiw there's a guy here with a MkI 750 who hit something like 150k before a car took it out.

30,000 miles on a 2021+ motorcycle would certainly be "high mileage" for the USA where the average motorcyclist rides less than 3,000 miles per year according to NHTSA. Any 2021 or newer model with 30k+ miles is likely a top 10% mileage bike for its year at least. That's not to say there aren't people who rack up miles like they're nothing... just that they're the outliers.
OP, are you just asking out of curiosity, or do you have a specific concern regarding maintenance or reliability?

The beauty of that number is that it keeps our insurance rates lower for those of us that ride our bikes.

Yeah but, with such a limited amount of riding I would think such riders would be more prone to accidents, drops etc. Just sayin'.

Less exposure to other vehicles. The more miles and time on the roads the increased probability of a wreck. More miles doesn't directly equate to increased skill or situational awareness.

Anyone who has put that kind of mileage on in 4 years or less is too busy riding to bother with this forum.

So question... If you insure a car/truck for 365 days out of the year, and we assume that the cost to replace it and/or the damage it can do to others is greater than the bike. shouldn't the insurance companies be begging you to ride the bike ? and shouldn't it be covered under your more expensive auto/truck policy.

There is at least one Italian language poster on the Moto Guzzi V7 Facebook group with 50,000 km+ on a V7 850 e5. I put 11.5k miles on mine with two trips in the first year and have mostly ended up riding my small or vintage bikes since. It will be my lazy tourer again for some distance riding this fall. If reliability is the concern, I haven't encountered any measurable oil consumption yet, some others have. No final drive leakage either. The issues I've encountered have been rusted steering bearings, and a Guzzi dealer doing a poor job balancing a replacement front tire. Nothing that left me stranded, and much cheaper than putting the same mileage on any Ducati Desmo bike I've owned.

I think given it's relatively new, 30K may be considered on the high side.

Again the point being op SEEMED (and I could be wrong) to be asking any reliability and my answer = 30k isn't "high" in terms of that.
But there was a time (before my kids) when 20-30k/year was average so 2-3 years would be 60-90k so again 30k isn't "high" to me that way either.
Still op hasn't been back to clarify so we'll just have to wonder and continue the debate of high.

I hope to get to those numbers, I used to average 10-15K a year, 20K at the most, but the last two were terrible, maybe 5K each. Hoping retirement will change that.
I would expect the V7 850 to be very similar to the rest of the V7 range.

Ok, the technical glitch on this forum has finally resolved! Here is my response, for what it is worth.
I’m not sure if I’m understanding or answering the OP’s question. But I put a put a bit more than 150,000 miles on a 2013 V7 Stone before I locked the front wheel in the rain in a probable diesel fuel spill near a gas station and wrecked it.
The Guzzi V7 was still fine at that mileage—minor damage. I would still be riding it today except for that accident, and my decision to get a bike with ABS and modern radial tires.
So I bought a Kawasaki Z900RS Cafe to replace the Guzzi V7. I’ve now got 44,000 on the Z900 after 2 years. Love it.
I ride just about every day. My commute to work is 100 miles round trip. I take long trips on weekends and holidays. For many years I’ve averaged 25 to 30,000 mile a year.
So I don’t consider 30,000 miles to “high mileage.” It is just that most people don’t really ride their bikes very much.
I am blessed in that regard. So personally, I think “high mileage” is overrated as a concern, provided the bike has been well maintained.
