Hi All,

NE Demo Tour,,,,,,,wonderful!

Any of these v100 things have or come with factory bags, panniers, spam cans, etc?  Just wondering, ain't seen any pics of such.  I'm not going to demo ride or consider a bike that doesn't have provisions to carry all my stuff (crap) should I decide to buy one.  And, I'm too old & stupid to reinvent a system to haul my tent, bag, gear, etc.

Also, when are the 2024 v85tt's coming to America?  The v85tt is more my speed possibly, I've ridden a few 2023's, has more than enough get up and go for me although the suspension is a little on the harsh side for my liking but not a deal breaker.

Thanks,
Art

There are factory bags available for the V100 things.

Mmm.  If timed right might make the Seacoast demo event.

Steven,

Thanks for posting.  Glad that Guzzi is giving the dealers up here some love.

No Art, I don't think any of what you're asking is known.  I have no idea how you might find out?

I believe there is a fee for dealers.  When I was with Triumph we paid a fee for the truck and my H-D dealer buddy pays 10K for the weekend (2 days of truck demos).

Thanks Chad!
Yeah, just wondering.  There are some great deals now for '23 v85tt's both new & used but then I heard of some of the improvements on the '24's which adds to my decision dilemma.  Then while I'm not that enthusiastic about going to a larger displacement bike these days, it is an option and would like to see MG put up some pics of the v100's with factory bag options, it would aid in my decision making process....they did a decent job with the v85tt's.  Oh well.

According to AF1 Racing, the new V85TT will be 2025 Model Year and should arrive late July-early August 2024.

Got my advance deposit on a 2025 in Rosso Fuji...

I know for a fact that Piaggio is now charging the dealers for the demo truck.  It's not peanuts.  Help them out-buy a shirt/hat if you want to say thanks.  A BIKE would be better, but I'm sure they'll take what they can get.

I'm not being cryptic on the cost.  I did not ask if I could share the amount so until I know for sure if I can just leave it at that.

Weird that a HD dealer would pay for the demo truck when you can test ride the bikes on the floor.

Not really.  The dealer bikes are there.  Truck, assorted crew, fuel, the 30 bikes they bring, the registration tent, etc. all costs.
I know for a fact that the H-D dealers that book the truck pay a fee.  They don't have to get the truck, mind.  My friend makes a BIG production out of it.  Hundreds show up
and stuff gets sold.  Quite different from two guys walking in on a Tuesday to ride a bike they'll most likely not buy.
I also don't ever recall any dealership having 20 to 30 bikes prepped and ready to go for demos.

Thanks KOF & 2wings for the info.

So, if the v85's coming into the US July/August are 2025 model year....are they the same as those being sold in Europe right now?

Every dealer I have been to has every bike prepped and ready with maybe a few exceptions like ICON and some CVO reserved for ready to buy folks.

I guess you're just playing with us Art.  Surely you know you can put this in your search engine, Moto Guzzi v100 with bags, and you will get LOTS of pics of such, then click images at the top and you will be swamped with said.

Nah, not messing with youse.  I'm somewhat interested in seeing/knowing what Guzzi is offering in the way of storage for the Stelvio, not what the aftermarket has to offer.   Guzzi "accessories" tab includes side-open panniers (29/30L), side bags (no pic/description), 2 different top boxes (no pic/description)...doesn't matter though, I don't need a top box.  I guess I sorta expected a pic of a v100 at the MG website in full dress...with cases, panniers, bags or cans....like they did with the v85tt Travel.  Also, I'm still trying to figure the differences between v100 models other than wheels and color or maybe I should go to the demo....    :thumb:

Thanks,
Art

That's the exact opposite of every H-D dealer I've ever been in.
It is what it is.

New England dealers?  Mmm.  Or years ago?
