Title: V7 Racer......Tourer
Post by: Guzzidad on July 06, 2024, 06:32:32 PM
Years ago I put many thousands of miles on my 1100 Sport with the addition of a Ventura Rack/Pack system. The Sport is gone but I still have the Ventura Rack and Pack. Would it work on my V7 Racer? Yes! And it only takes 15 minutes to install or remove. Had to use a Stone seat instead of the Racer humpback seat though.

Whatever works. I did a 500 mile trip on my V7III with rear sets and clubman bars that resemble the riding position of the Racer.  Worked like a charm.

Nice.  I thought I was the only person here to use that system.  It's brilliant, modular, and completely out of the way when you don't need it.
The way side bags change the line and look of the V7 was too much for this Italian.  Minority opinion-I'm aware.
