Title: Hot time, summer in the city...

Snapped outside of Anthony & Son’s Panini Shoppe in Williamsburg on a HOT July day. My Storny looked right at home.

Haven’t tried a prosciutto & mozzarella hero from here, but it’s on my list: https://www.paninishoppe.com/

FWIW Williamsburg may have long ago become the young hipster alternative to southern Manhattan, but it’s still thick with Italian culture and neighborhoods festooned with il Tricolore 🇮🇹

Yes, there are or were a lot of Italians in that section of Williamsburg.

In the mid 80's I ran a business out of a 2,500sqft loft on Berry & S.5th st. next to the Williamsburg Bridge over looking Manfred's Raceco and the Domino Sugar factory. It was substantially different then, mostly chop shops, prostitutes, junkies and quite a few artists in those relatively cheap commercial loft buildings. Of course all of them, including the artists have been priced out and the neighborhood feels sterile compared to the past years.

I've been watching the heat wave out west, and am pretty glad I'm living in Germany right now, where a hot day is above 90*f(30*C) The problem is the humidity.  Oof!
But I have something in Germany that I never had in Arizona.  Asummer jacket!!!
