Did any of our forum members attend the NC rally at Ferguson this past weekend or was it even held?
If so how was it besides hot and wet?

It was definitely wet when my small group made it to the campground on Friday afternoon. We encountered a spot of rain on our Saturday ride. Otherwise, the weather, while being a bit hot and muggy, was quite tolerable in the shade.
The campground is beautiful and big, with a nice big creek running through part of it. There is a large covered pavilion area where the meals took place. The bath house was very well maintained and very clean. We got bags of ice from the office and borrowed a large cooler for our libations.
One major high light of the rally were the meals. Dinner on Friday and Saturday evening were prepared by a group of Italian volunteers. They provided salad, bread, meat lasagna, pizza made on the spot with a high tech pizza oven, buccatini with ground pork, spaghetti with vegetables, green beans, carrots, roast pork, roasted potatoes etc. There was even Italian wine, lots of it (bought with leftover money from last year's rally contributions).
We saw some of the usual Guzzi suspects and met several new people. Lots of Guzzis and several BMWs, Triumph Tigers, Yamaha etc. Overall, it was great rally. My group built a nice campfire on Saturday night with the free wood provided at the campground and stayed up past 1 am. Hope to make this rally again next year!

Thanks for the great review and pictures!
I’m so glad it didn’t get rained out.
Hopefully some more of the participants will chime in👍

Looks like a nice, peaceful place :thumb:
Thanks for posting!

Nice to see you out rallying, ride the Griso, V11? Thanks for the report. I got to watch dogs weekends, ya fun.

Yeah, it's been hard to get away but the Guzzi rallies are always a good time. I got a V85 TT but the Griso and Tenni are still around.

Jim Hamlin gets around (long hair dude). I just saw him at NH rally.
Looks like a fun place for next year. Only 800 miles

Yeah, he does. Always comes to the Ohio and Kentucky rallies.
