Title: Datil Rally
Post by: Travlr on August 12, 2024, 02:19:40 PM
4 of us are riding from Phoenix on Friday.  We'll be staying at the Largo Motel in Quemado.  Weather forecast looks good.

From my experience the High Country Motel in Magdalena has a friendlier more accommodating owner/manager. Have stayed at both. She is also a Ducati rider. My 2.5 cents worth.

Two wings, that is a good looking setup. I am almost 95% committed to make the trek out there for the fifth year just to see your new TT. It looks sweet.  Friday - Hannigan Meadow, Sat the Largo, then Mount Graham and onto Tucson then Gila Bend at the Space Age Motel ,then Prescott home.

I am headed out from Hereford, AZ early Thursday morning. Should be in Daniel early afternoon.

The wife and I have stayed at the Largo. It is okay but a little pricey for what and where it is.

See you there.

I really want to get to this rally but the August date conflicts with so many others and then there is the heat crossing the plains.Any chance of doing it in April or May?
