I originally published this in five parts last year. Now I have compiled it into a single video staring my 1972 Eldorado.
It's about 40 minutes long, so grab a coffee.

Wot, me worry? So far, she's always got me home......sometimes with a little roadside tinkering.

Nice riding!
I'm thinking that a ride to Lake Manicouagan is
going to go on the list. I never heard of it until your
videos, but it fascinates me now.
And the idea of miles and miles with NO traffic is undeniably appealing!

Beautifully empty roads to Manicouagan. Motel, Restaurant, General Store, Gas Station (It's all one unit) up there. NO cell service on the way but there are emergency phones every 30 miles. Not much in the way of safe spots to pull over. "They" paved the route but left the contours and curves so it is a delightfully smooth roller coaster coming up from the south.

It's paved as far as the Manic 5 dam at the outlet of the lake. Slight spoiler here - the lake is so big you can't really get a sense of it from land. However, the scenery is wonderful, remote and quiet, and, as you note, you're unlikely to be pestered by traffic jams. Good luck.
