Title: Guzzidiag 46 or 47 please
Post by: SemperVee on September 06, 2024, 11:58:10 AM

Can someone point me to GuzziDiag V 46 or Version 47?   Or email me a copy if you have it?    I am working off V 60 on my Mac on High Sierra O/S  but my 07 Norge won't delete the Dashboard error in Memory while there seems to me none in Actual.  I'm getting repeated red triangle alarms  on start up for some reason with no active codes and the MC won't let me delete to memory of past errors for some reason.  I keep selecting Yes, delete and get exited from the menu?   If I remember correctly earlier versions of Guzzzidiag had the ability to delete error codes in memory?

IIRC my 05 Breva played up like this once and I fixed by disconnecting the battery over night

If you are getting the red triangle of death on an ‘07 Norge, do this…
Ride down the road at highway speed.
Make sure no one is behind you.
Don’t touch the clutch and turn off the key.
Wait 3 seconds.
CLOSE THE THROTTLE and flick the key back on.
When the bike fires, the triangle will likely as not be gone.

If it happens like that, it’s the oil pressure switch. I’ve done 2 on mine.

Thanks  Peter for the ingenious idea and I'm not throwing an error for that but just for kicks I will try that next time out!

Or the connection to the oil switch

I thought that I needed to replace the switch  (original nail head type) but fitting the connector fixed it permanently

Like Huzo, I found a bad oil pressure switch, changing it fixed it.

NO bad oil switch, No sensor error about that.  Just on and off at different starting times red triangle alarm.   Disconnecting bat did not work, deleting errors in memory remain no matter that I keep selecting "delete"..
