Title: Barber Vintage Festivale Oct 11-13, anyone going?

Am planning on riding up to Barber Vintage festival next month, health (mine and the EV)  permitting. Anyone else going? Leaving from Tampa area sometime 11th---

I used to go when I had a connection to the vintage trials and was a volunteer section judge.  Haven't been in a few years and don't particularly like crowds.  Plus I am flush with cash and my addiction probably couldn't handle the temptation.   :evil:

I've been going every year for the past decade or so.  Will be there this year if possible.  Only a 2 hour run out there so no reason not to, right?

If you've never been to the bvf, you're in for a real treat.

Was hoping to camp nearby but the event sites and Oak Mtn State Park filled up quick so I'm on the fence about staying somewhere further out or doing a different fall ride instead.

I ride down every year if the weather is decent. I have a neat backroads route that is a very enjoyable ride.

Y'all that ride there, are you going to ride around the property or find a spot and take the shuttle around.

When I used to go there we just went in the cage and took the shuttle around to see the events.  Saw way too many domino effect bikes that parked in the grass along the roadside when one fell over. 

I definitely need to stay away because my motorcycle budget is bursting at the seams.

I usually get that first corner spot on the right after entrance (across from VJMC area), park bike for the duration, shuttle on and off as desired giving legs a break.
Perfect weather this coming weekend too.
Definitely running the ridge road of the Cheaha Mountains for additional entertainment... :wink:

I will not be making it after all, hurricane Milton has left me with a large mess to clean up and a discombobulated schedule--will shoot for next year :sad: :sad:
