Just bought a '25 V85TT...if I want to keep having marital relations I'd better stop right there :thewife:

Would have preferred front fender to be matching red

Excuse my ignorance here, but what am I looking at? Is it just a red V100 Mandello?

Not just a red Mandello...a special edition Red Mandello...you can read about the specs online. Quite a nice version.

Does this mean like some other Italian manufacturers the "Special editions" will have a numbered placard riveted to the lower triple tree and a little extra lipstick and made in numbers that far exceed the "regular edition" bikes?

Oh, I don't know about that. My Ducati 2007 Sport Classic SE was numbered 046 out of 100 made. After owning it for a little over 13 years, I sold it for $6000 more than I paid for it.

"Wind tunnel edition"... you can't be serious...what's next, the "il bagno" edition?!

Even a blind squirrel eventually finds an acorn. I mean if you make enough SE/LE versions eventually one of them becomes valuable but the majority are just another bike with a numbered plaque.
As for the Ducati Sport Classic it seems as though all the Sport Classic's increased in value, not sure yours being an SE had a profound effect on the valuation.

Not sure I’m ready for any L/C MG but she shore is pretty!
I understand you need to let er rev to enjoy the torque I’ve read.

I haven’t had an opportunity to visit a dealer (only 2 left in Mn) to sit on one. I’m 5’9” on a good day with 32” inseam, for those who have one or sat on one, could I flat foot this bike? I can on my 07 Norge.
-
I have a 32" inseam and can flatfoot my V100. It does take a bit to swing a leg over with the factory side cases on and standing on the ground.
