Title: Round cap master cylinders
Post by: dguzzi on December 02, 2024, 04:41:44 PM
Does anyone know a good supplier for the master cylinders (Brembo) that have a round cap?  This is for a Cagiva but likely the same for small blocks I think....   MG cycle & Bevel Heaven used to have that stuff but not so much anymore..

You do not mention whether you're looking for rear or front m/c...  or which size.

This one is for the rear although for the larger Guzzis...

AFAIK, Brembo stopped making the round reservoir master cylinders a while back and what's available now are reproductions. Fortunately, genuine Brembo rebuild kits seem to work in them. The only downside I see to them is that they are painted, not anodized like the originals, so any brake fluid leak makes the paint bubble up and flake off.

Thank you Rad, I just needed to look deeper into MGCycle, This is for the front clutch and brake, I don't know the size yet as I'm still dealing with the slave part of the clutch. So I ordered one of each...
