Not watched it all yet, but a lot of the photos are of other Guzzis with the 'Dustbin' Fairings, not the V8.

I've seen one run, Sammy Miller brought his one to the Brackley Festival of Motorbikes a few years ago.
There wasn't enough room on the course (basically they shut off the two sides of the Town's High Street and run the Bikes up and down the Loop formed by that) for it to get properly into it's stride, but the noise, WOW!

Didn't manage to get a video of it doing the Loop unfortunately . . .

This just popped up on UTube. Very good history of the V8. Well worth watching. Maybe you guys know all of this but I didn't.

What current or semi-current Moto Guzzi would be the subject of a documentary several decades later?

The MGS-01 (race bike), the 1400 line, the latest V100 bikes?

I just don’t think so.

If the original Guzzi V8 500cc gets a perfect score of 100, the others I mentioned above maybe rate a 10. Maybe.

At 20 years old I wouldn't consider the mgs01 as semi modern, unless you're comparing it to current models. 

The current lineup would rate zero.  None stand out in any category other than beginner.

Sadly, Moto Guzzi hasn’t made anything impactful for many decades. Sad for a company with such a rich distant history to not have made much worth remembering for so long.
