Going to have to pull the wheels on the 2017 V9 Bobber to install a new set of tires. Anyone here done the wheel removal have any tips, tricks or things to look out for? Any input will be appreciated.

some kind of glue/grease/RTV to hold the cush rubbers in when you try to put the tyre back on helps a lot on my V7.

Yeah, it's pretty straight forward.
It can help when removing the rear tire if you have some height (lift the rear or a drop out plate on the lift).
Also you'll want to remove/relocate the caliper and bracket.
The cush rubbers are the worst part but they are not that bad if you maximize clearance around the pumpkin before trying to align the hub (that's where the caliper and bracket moving out of the way really helps).
Just ask if you run into trouble.

It will help if you flip the LH shock up horizontal. Some here even pull the rear drive off swingarm.

The rear is a bit of a faff - the Yamaha solution found on most of their shaft drive bikes are far superior, as is that of the other Japanese makers. Removing and installing the front wheel on the Bobber could not be made any easier.

Letting the air out of the tire will give a tickle more space to maneuver the wheel. I hadn't thought of removing the rear drive. I will give that a look the next time I change the rear tire on my V7.
