If you are one who has de-linked (disintegrated) his or her brakes and still has a proportioning valve lying around, I ask you to send it to me. I'll pay shipping and whatever price you want, within my budget. I may buy you a beer, even. (I only need one, though, so act without delay!)
The kind I want is called a four-way proportioning valve in Guzziology and looks like this:

That one is from a Mille GT. I am considering installing it on my T3. I believe I correctly and completely understand the principles of how these things work now. However, I would like to measure things inside the valve to clear up the last details (which I will share). I don't want to open up my valve since I plan to use it. So I want another one for an autopsy.
I don't need one from a particular model, just one that looks like the picture. These were installed on a number of models during the 80s and 90s. No rear load compensating levers, please. No simple manifolds from the first generation T3, Le Mans, S3 or Convert.
I am asking in the name of science, in particular the Science of Guzziology. Please look around if you think you have one and PM me if you find it.
With gratitude,
Moto, guzziologist
