Sounds like a winner! Put me on the list. Need to get out. Tired of all the wind and rain!
-
On my calendar.
-
Going to try to have my 1972 Honda Cb 750 chopper running correctly/better for this lunch meetup! Woo hoo hoping for good weather!
-
I'm going to make a multi day ride out of this. Maybe camping trip depending on weather.
-
I am planning on being there. I'll be staying at TWO Wheels campground with my other bike's group.

Great!

Il be in my truck on next Saturday for lunch. Guzzi needs fluids changed and I won’t have time to get to it until after Saturday. Hope to see quite a few of you at lunch!
-
You have a whole week!
-
He's got a point, Bob. I don't think the 20 or so miles from Cleveland to the Ocoee Dam Deli and back will make any difference to the engine using the existing fluids. Moto Guzzis are not THAT fragile!
Look at it this way: When you ride back home from the Deli, the fluids will be nice and warm, ready to drain.
-
I work out of state all week and don’t get back home until late Friday night. Il ride it over to lunch and change the fluids after. Thanks Mike
-
Wish the forecast was looking better.
-
Me too!
-
Il have my rain gear! Lol
-
Me three!

Weather Channel says, "Partly Cloudy and 20% chance of rain" AccuWeather says "Scattered Thunderstorms and 80% chance of rain" Could two forecasts be any more divergent? Gezzzzz.
-
I'm coming as long as my back lets me go that far.

My weather app says mostly sunny, 75-80 for a high. I’m going with that one! Lol

Hope you can make it!

Once the hail quit last night we got 1 1/4" of rain. But it's moving off and looks to be a fine day.
-
Roads will be damp in spots, but rain is moving off to the east. Yes, getting ready to head out in about an hour.
-
Ride safe everyone. See you at the ocoee dam deli at noon!
-
The Guzzi’s, (BMW and triumph, Hondas) were out in full force at the monthly traveling Moto Guzzi lunch in Ocoee Tennessee. Thanks to everyone that showed up!

I made it through the whole afternoon dry after about six rain drops on the way over. When I got home 220 miles round trip about 4:30 I didn't even get my helmet off in the garage and the sky opened up. Perfect day, eating place, ride, and friends!
Thanks Bob. FYI, nice V85 you found.
-
Way to go Bob, still waiting for JoAnn to retire working weekends and I can come.
-
Another good meet-up in the bank, Bob. Thanks!
Left at 8am and had great ride to Tellico Plains then down 30 to Ocoee. Twisty and fun! Smoked the last of the good off my front
Pirelli ! Lol New set of Conti's waiting in the wings to spoon on.

Is the guy who was riding the Honda ST 1300 and came to our meet n greet lunch on here yet??
-
Is his name Mike?
-
That ST1300 had over 100,000 miles on it...and no cruise control!! That's a lot of throttle twisting.
-
Yes.
The Honda ST1100 and the follow-up newer ST1300 were designed for Sport Touring. Smooth riding for Touring and Sporty handling for the hills and curves.
-
Is his name Mike?
Yes I believe so.

Now for the answer to the question everyone is waiting for: Well, Bob...did you change the fluids on that V85 yet?

Motormike: I changed oil, transmission fluid and rear end fluid on the V85TT Adventure today. Who in the heck designed the placement/location of the transmission drain bolt? Geeezzzzz
-
Gitt Er done Bob!

The job can be done but yes you're right. The bike probably needs to be stone cold when putting the plug back in place. Unless you dropped the exhaust.
If you change the pipes out, it becomes 1000% easier! Hardly justifies the expense, but .... .
