Hello
Thinking of getting lowered footpegs for my V7III and found a post where someone wrote that the Hayabusa has the same fitment of footpegs as mine.
Can someone confirm this before I order random stuff of the interweb?
I have seen the Knight design ones which looks really nice but quite pricey, so looking for other options and came across these

Those look like it should work. I have a V7 850 but I think pegs are same. Not sure about 'Busas but I know Honda CBR pegs work

I don't think I've ever heard someone bother comparing parts of a Hayabusa to a V7III.
But maybe the retailer or a Hayabusa owner can help you. What you need to know is the thickness of the pivot on the peg in question.
I quick check on my V7III (without removing the peg) suggests the pivot is 22mm thick. So that's your target.
However I'll warn you the pegs are already pretty low on a V7III so if you lower them another 25mm or so be ready to use exaggerated body English in turns or you may start scraping pegs/touching down more than you're used to.
I won't lower my V7III pegs for that reason, though I do have the Knight Design pegs on my MkI because it had a tighter rider triangle with taller pegs to begin with.

Thanks, the Busa was just mentioned in a post, but looks like the CBR are very similar as well

Thanks for checking, I´m aware about the low footpegs original, so don´t want to go further than 25 mm (1")

The ones I got are similar and I like them a lot better than stock. Easier to move foot around and just slightly lower to fit my long legs

They look quite nice, is it a bolt on fitting with spring and all to the V7?

Yes, removed spring, clip and stud from old peg, reused on new peg

The 2012+ Honda Goldwing pegs work and are 10MM lower and much wider. After market ones are on Amazon.

I was surprised to find that BMW foot pegs also interchangeable. I tried putting R 1200r pegs on my V7 , looking to reduce vibration. No major difference, so back to OEM pegs !
