Title: Utah Guzzi Get Together! Sept. 4-7
Post by: Utrider on April 24, 2025, 10:13:34 AM: Hey there fellow Guzzisti, we are getting together in Torrey, Utah with the Thousand Lakes RV Campground as the host location.
The phone number there is 435-425-3500.
As of this post there's a camping cabin available for the duration, it will accommodate 5. There's a deluxe cabin available for Thursday and Friday nights. Plenty of tent spaces are available. I apologize for getting this up so late, but I certainly look forward to seeing everyone and enjoying the gorgeous Utah scenery!

I plan on cooking dinner on Saturday night. There's a lot of hotels available in addition to the campground. The restaurant we all enjoyed at the campground is still there as well. Look forward to seeing you and your crew!

Last time it was chilly the first morning but fine after that. I doubt it will be cold enough for snow.

Southeastern Utah is grand. You need to go some year.

It's been 20-years since I've been to Torrey. I was there in 1999 and 2005. Really beautiful area and great motorcycling.

Michael, you are welcome regardless of which bike you bring!!! I am working on having a modest dirt alternative for those so inclined, the DR might play well into that.

NOTE: With the reported demise of the Datil, NM Guzzi Rally, (last one was Aug. 14-17), this Utah Rally might be a great contender for many of the Arizona and Southwest riders to attend in 2026. :thumb: :bow: :cool: :boozing:

JJ, thank you, we will post up some pics and hopefully input from the attendees. This "Get Together" is an every other year event, in conjunction with Colorado, hosted by Alanp on here. It's not a large event, but the guys are awesome and everyone tends to have a good time and enjoy the area we are in. Thanks for chiming in and sorry to hear about Datil.

JJ, next year it will be in Ouray, Co. Alanp from this thread hosts the even years. We have been swapping off responsibilities for this going on 10 years now.

I'm sure he would welcome all new participants just as I do. It's a great core of guys and some special guest appearances to keep things interesting.

We spent an hour and a half having lunch with Michelle's youngest daughter who is in her first year of college in Grand Junction. We took the scenic route over Monarch Pass and missed the rain.
