Title: Glare from Cali 1400 Dash
Post by: Skysailor64 on May 02, 2025, 01:55:50 PM
During the short few months I have owned my California 1400 Touring I have noticed glare from the dash screen and chrome ring surround.  The glare, while momentary, is very intrusive bordering on unsafe.  So am wondering if anyone has used a cover of any kind to solve this issue?  I found this protector on Amazon which offers both an anti-glare version and a clear version of screen protector. Seems like this would help with the screen glare leaving only teh glare form the surrounding chrome ring.  Anyone try this product yet?

Appreciate any and all comments.

I had a 1400 but got too heavy so I moved on. One of my major complaints was the dash. Hard to read the speedometer in certain conditions but I had no problems with glare. I wish I had known about these as I would have given one a try. Nothing to lose at that price.

I've had that blinding glare from the dash glass and chrome ring. I do like that anti glare cover idea but I also like to get something with a light tint to it to possibly help with protecting the LED screen from bright sun light
