I might not be going to the Honda chopper rally (because my carburetors won’t be done yet) so I might go camping at Two Wheels of Suches motorcycle campground from June 15th through June 22nd, 2025. Anybody want to meet up there and camp? Il be tenting it. Anyone???
-
I'll be in Florida meeting my Grandson for the first time.

Congratulations!

I might ride down Sat or Sunday just to have lunch and say "hi." Still have some old friends in the Dahlongega area I visit with from time to time.
-
I seriously doubt I'll camp at TWO Wheels but I might be able to cabin. A couple other things to deal with first. I'm working on it.

If you go by yourself Il split a cabin with ya if you want. I plan on buying food and grilling during the week. If you don’t want to I understand just holler at me and let me know. I can rent the cabin if needed or whatever.

Not much interest. Ok, I’m still working on my 1972 Cb 750 chopper carburetors and if I get them tuned right I won’t be going to Suches, Il be going to the World Honda Chopper Meet in Ferguson North Carolina! Woo hoo. I’m currently replacing or trying too, one broken carburetor slide which was causing all four to hang up and not idle down/close. What a project that bikes been! lol
-
Carburetors slides are on order but it’s looking more like Suches as I don’t think Il get back to the chopper work for a while.
-
Bumpity bump. Maybe Il camp from 15-18th or so. Anybody else? Thankd

I am planning to be there 17th-20th (providing the weather cooperates) in a cabin.

I might take my toy hauler instead! More comfortable.

Il probably be there 16-19th in my camper.

It’s been suggested to me by a couple of people to not use my camper at Suches because they only allow you to camp in their car parking lot. Vogel state park is full. Hmmmm?????
-
Ride down and get a cabin. The $ you save on gas and camper fees will most likely cover the cost.
-
I will be in the area from 22-28th, will either stop in & check it out or maybe stay, depending on how far I get. More likely for September, on the V7III, barring any hurricanes

I’m leaning toward camping in my toy hauler at Amicalola State park and then riding to Suches in the day time! Will be a nice ride!

Thanks! However I decided on Vogel State park. I’m looking forward to the trip!

Now it’s supposed to storm from Sunday through Thursday of that week! Dang it!
-
I hated to do it but I cancelled my reservations. No point in paying to stay somewhere when you can't do what you went their to do. I'm too old to ride in the rain on purpose.
-
It's been an ungodly wet spring in the NE Ga. mountains. But they can't get the forecast right 12 hours ahead, yet alone a week. Just come and bring a rain suit so you won't need it.

I know if I go to Vogel state park it will pour rain every day!
-
Maybe Il go to Suches and tent it the weekend of the 21st and 22nd. Supposed to only be a 30% chance of rain then! Hmmm??? Decisions decisions. I quit my job and re-entered retirement so maybe?????

Well Bob, we are all waiting with bated breath to hear what you decided to do. It's raining pretty hard here on a Saturday morning. Hope you are safe and dry in any event.

I got delayed from work and didn’t get home until today, Sunday. It’s pouring rain and supposed to all week. Il ride over to Arnold Air Force Base Friday to get a new ID Card. Maybe camp there at the Base Famcamp!
