Title: Bassa relays
Post by: nwguy on May 08, 2025, 12:23:48 PM
Pic of my Bassa's relays:

Are they all the same part #30732560 Relay Siemens A302/B1008? MG Cycle has them for $9.37 each:

Is there a cheaper alternative? I'm thinking about replacing them all.

Was thinking about replacing my coils too, but will test them first. I did find these for about half as much as other new ones:

Somebody posted not to long ago that he was still in business. Send him an email.

Good price on those from dpguzzi.

Are all the relays on my Bassa that same model?

Replace them all with the 5 prong units. That way you can always rotate them forward one hole if you are having an issue to check them,

Yeah, I emailed Dan at dpguzzi asking him about the 2 different relays I have (3 each). Seems like I need 6 of his relays.

Order a can of Deoxit if you don't already have some.

I just watched this video on Deoxit:

What type do you use? D5? Aerosol at 5% concentration or liquid at 100% concentration?

Dan from dpguzzi is sending me 6 relays, 3 under warranty!

I've used both for years.  Never an issue using either one.  I swear by that stuff.
