Title: Is this the right center stand?

Looks like all I'll need are the 2 springs. Harper's has them.

The part number they show is wrong, should be 03430311, but the stand is right.

Do you have parts nos. 4, 5 15, 16 36 & 37 in this illustration?

Yes I do. I went ahead and bought the stand yesterday after verifying this.

Post by: John A on May 18, 2025, 11:21:19 AM: It’s been quite a few years since I’ve put one on but I do remember the springs can be troublesome. It helps to hang the back of the bike from the ceiling so it won’t fall on you and it gives you room to work under there. Sometimes it helps to put dimes between the coils to make them longer.

Side stand springs are simple (assuming you have the big police stand).
Take the top nut and the locking tab off the sidestand.
Pivot the stand forward to the point the springs just drop into their anchor points.
Now fold the stand back to its retracted position.
The springs will hold the stand in position.
Then replace the locking tab and it's retaining nut.
Done....
Easy Peasy.

That's the way I ended up doing it.
