I found a set of diagnostic cables amongst all my electric stuff that I think were the ones I used when remapping my 07 Norge and a friend's V7. Here's what they look like:

From what I've read, the plug shown in this picture is the diagnostic port for my 99 Bassa's ECU, correct?

Of the 3 adapter cables that I have, the one that was open (not in plastic bag) and presumably the one I used before does not fit into the diagnostic port shown above. However both other adapter cables do fit. Would it matter which one I use? If so, how do I tell which one?

I'm guessing I should use the switch position on the far left side of the blue, main cable labeled "7" and "KKL/Engine". Would you agree? Choices are shown here:

You must have gotten the uber deluxe fitsall cable setup from Lonelec! The setting you have on the adapter is correct, KKl is the protocol for single wire comms for ecu.
