Hi, folks.
I recently acquired a 1961 Galletto from the estate of a friend who passed away a few months ago.

It's a bittersweet purchase, as I have always wanted one of these, and had many great conversations with my friend about these little gems, but never foresaw that it would be his Galletto that would eventually make it's way into my care. Still, I'm happy to have it, and look forward to spending time resurrecting this little rooster, as it has been in storage for many years.
As I have never owned a Galletto (or any Guzzi single, for that matter), I'm hoping the Wild Guzzi brain trust can put me on the path to the best archives, part suppliers, communities, etc., for these lovely little machines. I received quite a decent set of manuals (user, service, parts) with the bike, but, in my experience, nothing beats being exposed to a group of owners and suppliers who are actively working on and maintaining these bikes on a daily basis. I 've heard that Guzzi Retro is a valuable supplier for Guzzis of this era, and I've joined the Guzzi Singles Facebook group, but I'm wondering where else I should go to educate myself, and get what I need to take proper care of the Galletto.
Any input would be very much appreciated!
Thanks,
Shaun

Sorry for the circumstances, but congratulations on the Galletto. One of the Guzzis I haven't been able to snare as of yet.
Enzo of Cadre Cycle owns a very nice example. He may be able to give you some advice.

Thanks, Dave. I'll check in with Enzo.

A sad way to scratch that itch that I know youve had for years Shaun.
Another good reason for me to head west this summer.
Congrats and stay well
